Therapy for Grief, Caregiving, and Life Transitions in Ann Arbor, Michigan
Support for adults navigating loss, responsibility, and changing family roles - offered in Ann Arbor and across Michigan.
A steady, thoughtful approach to therapy
I’ve spent over 25 years supporting individuals through complex life transitions, grief, and family challenges.
My work is grounded in creating space for “talk time”- where you can bring what’s been sitting underneath the surface into the open, without pressure or urgency.
Together, we look at patterns, explore what’s been working (and what hasn’t), and find ways to move forward that feel aligned with your values and your life.
This isn’t about fixing you.
It’s about helping you feel more clear, more supported, and more connected to yourself.
Therapy for caregiving, grief, and life transitions in Ann Arbor
I often work with adults who are navigating:
grief and loss
caregiving for aging parents or loved ones
balancing work, family, and personal needs
blended families and shifting relationship roles
anxiety and ongoing stress
major life transitions
These experiences can overlap in ways that feel overwhelming- therapy helps create space to sort through them.
What therapy can look like
Our work together is collaborative and paced to you.
Some sessions may focus on processing what’s happening right now.
Others may explore longer-standing patterns or the ways you’ve learned to cope over time.
We may also bring in practical ways to manage stress, set boundaries, or create more balance in your day-to-day life.
The goal is not perfection - it’s finding something more sustainable.
Background and experience
I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from Eastern Michigan University and have over two decades of experience working with individuals and families across Southeast Michigan.
My background includes supporting people in crisis, navigating complex family systems, and working through both immediate challenges and long-term transitions.
